More Than Blessed

I’m more then blessed to live today
Honoured as Jesus’ bride
Privileged to walk Salvation’s Way
With all God’s love inside

Living a life as Satan’s whore
In shadows of the night
I thought Heaven had closed the door
And barred The Way to Light

Still plagued with sin in deep despair
A stench beyond the sky
Shame was tempting everywhere
And I would not defy

I wanted love silver and gold
More of the devil’s charms
Gradually my soul I sold
Within my Master’s arms

I basked a while and life was great
However deep the shame
Lusting for more I’d hardly wait
Until the darkness came

I’d walk the streets I’d frequent bars
In filth beyond compare
I’d fornicate beneath the stars
And still I wouldn’t care

Just how it came that I could see?
Whilst in this evil mess
Why Heaven chose to set me free
I truly can’t confess

But by God’s grace Salvation came
Through Jesus Christ The Lord
I’m cleansed and saved from Satan’s claim
And The Avenger’s sword
