Morning Star!

Each morning, I would see your simper and inviting face.
As you would walk you would disappear without a trace.

Your smile is radiant as the morning star.
I knew your friendship would never be far.

Your spirit is edifying, a jaunt and always drifting.
Your presence is always uplifting.

As days go by,
I'm left wondering why.

Why do we have to say good bye my friend?
I know my broken heart will somehow mend.

I knew from the start,
Our lives would be pulled apart.

So, no matter where you travel,
Our friendship will never unravel.

Keep smiling morning star,
Stay true to who you are.

We will meet again someday,
When the time is right I will say.

Good to see you again,
That is where our new journey will begin.

Morning Star! Morning Star!
Promise me you will not go far!

In the fabric of life, we face its wrinkles.
I'm more amazed with your twinkles.

Star light, star bright, shine with all your might.
Wherever life takes you, don't you dare give up the fight.
