Wish I could drown in you
Like I dream through
Sleeping on the sun
Cause your touch is cool
Calming and all I need
Want to be your center
Show you things I’ve never seen
Give you reasons for everything
For nothing
Want to hold your hands
Through hell storm and demon fire
Face the devil
If it’s just to see your face
What could I do
To make you see how
Pathetic this makes me feel
So weak
Too vulnerable
But I need you
To see my human side
Not even close to immortal
And I can’t lie to you about it
Want every memory of me
To be a real one
Dry the rivers from your soul
Replace your cloudy eyes
With love and warmth
Cause that’s the me you deserve
That’s the me reserved
In your name
That tag carved in
Into my being
Your soul
