Mosaic Of Hope Poem by Thompson Emate

Mosaic Of Hope

Rating: 5.0

'birds care not for whom they sing.'
- Silent One

They announce the beginning of a new day,
They welcome everyone to go through dawn's pathway,
They sweetly sing,
The happiness they bring.

They open a new page,
Welcoming us to the stage,
They admonish us to come and see,
Look beyond the turbulent sea.

They don't see yesterday's gloom,
They anticipate a refreshing bloom,
They tell us to come out of the shadows,
And allow light through sombre windows.

They bask in the sunlight,
They fly home at night,
They're not perturbed about tomorrow,
They're not draped with sorrow.
