Mother Poem by kewulere alfanla

Mother

At times, words do run through my vein
But whenever I connect it with my brain
To use those words to give your praise
they flew up and away with no trace

how could I possibly praise u enough?
The one who makes me soft and tough!
The one who is always there for me
In tyms of trouble the one I always see

The one who watch me sleep at night
Whose eyes do twinkles and bright
The one whose advice Ginger my soul
And perfectly makes me whole

Are there still any words I can use?
That can perfectly tell the world about u
I just find this question so tough
All I want to say doesn't seem enough

What way is there to thank you?
For the million things you've done?
For helping me and leading the way
For showing me the path to walk and stay

And so I come to realize the way to say
The only thank you, is just in one way
Do you see in me the job you've done
Do you see what I have become?

Thank you mum for the gifts you give
Thank u for everything u do for me to live
Still mum, if is to giving your praise
I would rather have my words misplaced
