Mother (Mama) Poem by raquel stevenson

Mother (Mama)

Rating: 3.5

If you stood for my eyes to see,
I would
Hold you, your cheek with mine,
Breath upon my face.
Study your features,
To see myself.
Hear your voice speak your words.
Stand in silence,
An eternity I have already spoken.
Hold your hand,
Watch it age.
See the gray hair and wrinkles blossum.
Cling to our memories,
When someday you would move on.
If you stood for my eyes to see.
