Mother Nature Poem by Jodie Mayhew

Mother Nature

Rating: 5.0

Divine in All Your Beauty
So Gentle is Your Touch
Whispered Breath among Your Trees
Your Barren Land of Dust

Elegant in Your Movement
The Vastness of Your Breadth
The Strength within Your Oceans Blue
With Mysteries, at its Depths

So Calming is Your Prescence
Aquatic Harmonies
Your Windswept Waves upon Your Shores
A Sweet Cacophony

Your Graceful Dance in Sunlight
Silhouette upon the Ground
So Delicate...A Drop of Rain
Descending from Your Clouds

Supreme in All Your Glory
Majestic Mountains High
Snow Capped Visions on the Range
Reach up to meet The Sky

So Mighty is Your Power
Your Wrath....when it appears
Submissive Pleas...Surrendering
Instilling All With Fear

In Awe we Stand before You
There is No Place To Hide
Awaiting your Embrace again, when;
Your Ire Soon Subsides

So Peaceful in Your Silence
Though We Cannot Deny
Your Dorment state....A Fleeting Pause
You Soon Will Come Alive

You Wreak us with Your Havoc
Angered Mother... When you Speak
And The Love We feel..For You
Is Only...When You Stay Asleep!
