Motherhood is a Power,
As real and warm as light.
It's the warm embracing glow,
The nourishment at night.
Motherhood is a Strength,
The foundation of a new world.
It's the building block of nations
Of a journey yet unfurled.
Motherhood is a Weakness,
Full of times, both dark and low.
It's the teacher of humility,
It will break and watch you grow.
Motherhood is a Love,
Deeper than you can believe.
It will ignite a passion inside you,
The more you give you'll receive.
Motherhood is a Network,
And though you must feel alone.
You will always be supported,
When your friends are by the phone.
Motherhood is a Power,
It's a different point of view.
Motherhood is a Strength,
Motherhood is You.
