Mothers Blood Poem by Sierra Love

Mothers Blood

crying for a lost cause
tears are falling
for a woman who doesn't care

being raised on the truth
makes it hard not to believe my own lies
a fantasy of perfection
my dream of a happy life

everday I see a mother
holding her daughters hand
everynight I cry alone
wishing I had a mothers comforting touch

when I feel totally alone
I feel your blood in my veins
knowing this one small detail
is the the only comfort you will ever give me
