In the depths of our soul
Lies a burning desire
A relentless force
A never-ending fire
It's the driving force
The reason we strive
The purpose, the passion
That keeps us alive
It's the spark in our eyes
The beat of our heart
The voice in our head
That sets us apart
It's the fuel to our dreams
And the wind in our sail
The push, the pull
That makes us prevail
It's the within
And the around
The source of our actions
Without a sound
It's the what and the why
The bold and the brave
The risk-taker, the dreamer
The one who will pave
It's the reason we wake
And the reason we sleep
The force that compels us
To dig deep
It's the hunger, the thirst
The drive to achieve
The motive that pushes us
To never leave
It's the love and the hate
The joy and the pain
The moments we cherish
And the memories we gain
It's the constant reminder
That time's on our side
To reach for the stars
And not just abide
It's the drive to do better
To be better, to see
To rise above, to conquer
And to forever be free
It's the motive that fuels
Our every move
The determination, the will
The power to improve
It's the quest for greatness
That never dies
The urge to succeed
And reach for the skies
It's the voice that whispers
When all else fails
The courage, the strength
That prevails
It's the reason we strive
For something bigger than us
To make a difference
And leave a legacy, a plus
It's the motive that guides us
Through thick and through thin
The light in the darkness
That helps us begin
It's the fire that burns
Inside of our soul
The unbreakable spirit
That makes us whole
It's the motive that defines us
And sets us apart
The force that drives us
With all of our heart
So let it be known
From this day forward
Our motive is strong
Our purpose, our word
For we are the dreamers
The doers, the brave
With our motive in hand
