Moving Day Poem by Kathy Lippard Cobb

Moving Day

Bedroom walls
scarlet with passion—
whispers still echoing
in the shadows;
a permanent stamp
to be replayed
for future tenants.

We now stand inches apart,
separated
by miles of cold, white space.
