A clean clear note
dressed in beautiful tones
We can feel it plunging
deep within our bones
It's finding all our sorrow
we've tried so hard to hide
It finds a hope small yet strong
a hope we thought had died
As the music flows through us
all our sadness fades away
Then the sound goes with the pain
leaving nothing for us to say
Yet we sit there awhile longer
still wrapped in a soft warm glow
Silent words between us pass
neither of us wants to go
