Music In The Hearts Poem by River Boswell

Music In The Hearts

Rating: 5.0

'Her heart beats like a drum,
As she thinks of the one she loves,
A girl with eyes like the sun,
Whose touch fits like a glove.

She never thought it could be,
This way, her heart aflutter,
But when she's with her beloved, she's free,
Her soul unchained, uncluttered.

Their love may not fit the norm,
But it's pure and true and real,
And though others may be scorned,
They're stronger for how they feel.

For love is love, in every form,
And no one can deny,
That when two hearts are warm,
They light up the night sky'
