Musings By Sea: Forgiving Poem by Komarraju Venkata Vinay

Musings By Sea: Forgiving

The thorn stabs the soft heart-depths
And lodges there its violent barb;
The heart in pain writhes in silence
Lest any behold her bleeding tears.
Quietly she suffers her cruel wounds
Whilst nourishing the seeds of revenge:
Revenge that turns the thorn into a flower.
