There was once a time

Through many Riddles and Rhymes

You will find you were always mine

Upon this page I write away

As I think back on yesterday

Held captive by a beauty so rare

I was but a knight and you an heir

Closing my eyes to titles held

I will remember the perfumed smell

Those royal colors flowing bright

As long as I shall live I will be your knight

You shall always be my love my life

I will always protect you when in strife

Don't shed those lovely tears

We shall always have so many years

Whenever you need me I'll be by your side

Oh my love do not cry

One day you shall be crowned a Queen

And I will come running perhaps unseen

And I too shall stand next to you

Defending even your new name...soon

So wipe those sad eyes and look ahead

I will always be your best friend
