My Cat, Flower Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

My Cat, Flower

Rating: 4.0

My cat loves.
She doesn't question,
nor assume,
nor criticize,
nor dislike.
She just loves.
When she sleeps in my bed
(next to or on top of me)
She only purrs.
Her eyes are tired on her
sculpted face,
black on her left,
brown on her right,
and white in the middle
with her whiskers
(with the exception of one)
neatly kept like a proper lady.
And all she wants
is affection in return.
She eats sparingly,
and requires no special attention.
She'll scratch as my door
until I wake up,
just to purr on my chest.
Not to sleep on warm bed,
but rather to seek
love and affection.
My cat, Flower, loves unconditionally.
Do you?
