My Emotions Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

My Emotions

Rating: 4.5

My emotions are everything that I have in me.
Even when I cry, I can feel the sadness and that emotion felt so real.

Everything I say or do is out of emotions.
Even when I feel down, there is a lot emotion coming out of me.

There are days that I feel alone; maybe I was in the shadows to long?

Sometimes speaking is hard to do, but only my mind was just talking to me.
I did not know that you were there, just standing by the gates. When I just pulled in, I thought everything was just fine.

Don’t see I have a lot of pain in me, but that emotion is all I have right now.
Even the day’s sometimes turns into night; you know that the sun will rise in the morning.

Can’t you see that everything was just a blur; some things are not even worth seeing. The pain that I have, is still there. You’ll see that this emotion will be strong.

So if you look close, you’ll see your reflection staring right back at you.
This mirror is just an image of your face.

Try to look yourself in the eyes and see what’s inside of you?

I think there is an empty space inside, maybe let yourself have a smile.

This pain will no longer control my life, so I will say goodbye to that emotion.
