My Epitaph Poem by Aziz Akrish

My Epitaph

If an epitaph were to be my tale,
I'd have one ready for myself,
I would have carved on my grave,
Torment is what I felt but was a treat to my wounded heart,
so do not depart, as I have completed what I have done that is a heal to my heart, what would have been written on the stone:
Do not write this on my stone, for I do not want to be remembered for one thing, but many.
