My Existence Poem by Nick F. Hawkins

My Existence

My existence transcends
Frequentlyamongst the seasons,
On a wave that is cast upon a further
Distance allowed by the 5 senses,
Away from the crowed and the herd,
In tuned to frequencies and sounds
Seldomly seen orheard,
Signs that many never see norhear,
Signs as calm as the sea as I stand here,
Motionless against the wind as I breathe,
In the act of breathingthe pain from within lessens
And the mental tyranny starts to ease,
WhileI breathe I take heed of the spiritual
Lessons that flourish along the breeze,
My existence transcends reality,
My spirits are as free as autumn
Leaves falling from decadent trees
