They have seen the purest of hearts
And also the wicked
They have seen the friendship of a friend
And also the betrayal
They have seen the changes of the world
And also the things that will not
They have seen the faces of some
And also the backs of most
They have seen joy
And also sadness
They have seen come ups
And also setbacks
They have seen justice
And also injustice
They have seen peace
They have seen chaos
They have seen truths
They have seen lies
