My Friend
You helped me realize
All my fears.
You had a shoulder
For all my tears.
You made me laugh
When I wanted to cry.
You told me to live
When I wanted to die.
You showed me
Not all people are cruel.
You opened my eyes
When I couldn't see the truth.
You never held
My faults against me.
Even if I was wrong,
With me you would agree.
You will always
Be with me to the end
Because you are
A true friend.
