My Friend The Alien Poem by Vanessa Stallings

My Friend The Alien

My friend, an alien from afar,
With eyes that shine like distant
stars,
A being unlike any known to man,
In his presence, I am awestruck, I
must confess.

His skin, a hue of vibrant green,
A sight so strange, yet serene,
He moves with grace, an
otherworldly dance,
As if he holds the secrets of the
universe in his hands.

His speech, a melody of foreign
tongue,
Echoing through the air like an
ancient song,
I strain my ears to understand his
words,
Unraveling mysteries, as boundless
as the universe.

He sees the world through different
eyes,
Appreciating the beauty in both lows
and highs,
With wisdom gleaned from galaxies
unknown,
He guides me on a journey, never
walking alone.

In his presence, I feel the weight of
infinity,
A reminder of the vastness of
possibility,
For my friend, an alien from foreign
skies,
He taught me to see the world with
new eyes.

With him, I've learned that the
cosmos unite,
That our differences are precious,
our flaws are slight,
And though the stars may separate
our homes,
Our friendship transcend, no matter
where we roam.

So, my friend, this ode to you I send,
As we navigate this mysterious
blend,
For whether you're from Earth or
worlds afar,
You'll always be my friend, my
favorite star.
