My Garden Poem by Antony Glaser

My Garden

Baby saplings of robina grew
scattering like confetti
they guard an approach

My buddleia are furry embers
they are sprucing up
my rose hips are the least edible
snacks for the Birds

My fern languishes in its pot
unable to grow
perhaps too much shade
under ever present tree
