My Gift



What have You given me?
I used to wonder
Was I to sing?
I wanted it so
You had a gift for me
It's not what I wanted
I looked in the wrong places
And wasted my time
I just didn't recognize
The gift I was given
Now that I do
I thank You for it
And give it back to You
