My Grandmum Poem by gideon zerah ogbonna

My Grandmum

I f           o n l y          d e a t h

Was within the purview of me

Your shuttle in shut-eye

Is one which I can’t dismiss

Or shrug or shove off

Your long shrift drift

Of life in this realm

 I wouldn’t forget

As you did birth my birth

And made; caused; rejuvenation

To my vision

My very grand mum

Grace  Olachi  Nnadi

Now GONE
