My Happiness Is Born From You Poem by Farah Taskin

My Happiness Is Born From You

If you loved me, the golden spring would arrive in the midst of this heavy monsoon
All the charms fade without you
There's no second road, only where the ground your feet walk
A beloved is called a sweetheart and honey, because love itself is the sweetest of all
The wretched moments are dragging on without you
Perhaps union is not my fate, distance is my cruel destiny
My love will outlast all else, until my last breath
