My Heart Poem by Ronald Nyakweba

My Heart

Like the showers of a fountain
And an ice of a mountain
My heart is lively,
And shiny,
Like the morning dew

Like a warm breeze,
And a first kiss,
My heart enjoys the moments

Like an apple
And a lovely squeeze-
Of a mango juice
My young heart tastes.

Like a first rain,
And a strange freedom
In a faulty kingdom
My young heart surprises.

Like a teenager,
My body dances,
And once in my life
My heart has found
Its life companion

My heart is shiny,
And tastes like honey
Cool like a mountain ice
My heart feels so nice.

The morning sun
And its lovely rays
Touches the bottom
Of my lovely heart
