My heart is in your hands
Please handle it with care
It's fragile, soft and delicate
So EASILY can tear

You have my heart inside your hands
It's all yours to decide
If it will be a part of you
Way down deep inside

I leave it up to you
To let me in and make a home
For my fragile heart to live in
It wasn't made to live alone

My heart can give you everything
You'll feel it all the time
If I just have a place in you
For those good things to reside

The bad I've done I'm sorry for
I've caused you so much pain
But if you let me in our hearts
Will never be the same

The only thing I ask of you
Please let my heart inside
And everything which comes from that
Keeps happiness alive

My heart is in your hands
Please let it give you what it can
It holds something for you my love
Matched by no other man

With this poem I write for you
I open up to bear
The love I have inside of me
That I just want to share

You are who I was meant for
This I know to be true
Please take me in and make a home
I give my fragile heart to you
