My Imperfect-Mr. Perfect Poem by Nissi Lunga

My Imperfect-Mr. Perfect

Facial qualities pleasing to the eye,
with hair so luscious triggers my sky.
Versatile with thy arms of left and right,
losing thee would be life's greatest plight.

Imperfect to the crowds, perfect to me,
thy je ne sais quoi stride stunning to my decree.
Scarce, even to diamonds they ache for thy touch,
Thy presence stutters and slouches my speech.

Thy endearment, to my heart exudes with delight,
melodious in thy baritone with no modicum of might.
Celestial are thy eyes, sparkling like stars,
they are windows to thy souls even from afar.

Captivating is thy smile- the rarest I could find,
a tinge of it every second oozes my mind.
Magnetic is thy persona grata, it's inescapable,
the force of thy room tone forever dependable.

Posit are thy etiquette imprint avidity,
thy words sweeten my eardrum's facility.
Thy synopsis of derivativity of my epoch,
with me from base 'til my most exalted reach.

A product of my maladaptive daydream,
Ethereal I title thee like a silver stream.
Dressed in self not clothed in delusion,
broke into my heart- my pleasant intrusion.
