My Indian Summer

My indian summer. It was no bummer.
A warm day in the winter time.
It was cold outside yesterday.
But today, it was as warm as the month of May.

Eventhough; the trees, they were covered with snow.
The sun was shining bright.Much to my delight.
Warming up my day.Like the warm candlelight.

It was warm outside today.
But tomorrow it will be colder.
For my indian summer. It will be over.
And the snow will bury, the green green clover.
Over, and over, and over....
The snow will bury, the green green clover.

If my indian summer continues to go.
For a few more days, my heart will grow.
Keeping me warm for another day.
Now, the kids can go out and play.

For my indian summer. It was no bummer.
A warm day in the winter time.
It was cold outside yesterday.
But today, it was as warm as the month of May..
