My Last Breath Poem by Nicole Buckland

My Last Breath

I hear the footsteps behind me
their so close

I walk faster, my heart
racing with my pace

The sound of the footsteps
speeds up and becomes louder,
so close behind me
I dont look back

I start running, blowing my
hair back and the once calm
cool breez from a second ago
turns to a fiesty gust biting
at my checks

An arm pulls around my waist
and pulls me back into the
darkness of an ally

I suddenly have an emotion
and strong feeling come
across me of coldness and pain
my stomach is weaping,
crying so much blood

I fall to my knees
lay on the damp cold ground, my vision blurs and i take
my last breath
