My Last Breath Poem by lyle hertenstein

My Last Breath

Don't throw love around like a rag doll
Im not your toy to amuse you
Don't build my hopes up
Just to watch them come crashing down
Don't laugh at my dreams
If you don't believe
Don't tell me where not over
If you know we will never be
And nothing feels like home
When your a thousand miles
And the hardest part of living
Is the way you take my breath away
But it doesn't matter anymore
I asked you to stay
You walked out the door
And took my breath away
