My Life Poem by Lauren Walling

My Life

Rating: 4.5

My life is still at the root of a glacier
I find my self in deep stare at the cover of my own book yet to be untold...
My book is thick my book is heavy over weighing the good from bad....
this book seems to be told in fine print with a warrant
Now please explain to me why my book already seems like a learning lesson like a chilling layer comes to my body to shake my bones just to the very touch of the spine.
Fear creeps up my spine creating my hairs to stand on edge.
Excitment seems to appear as a grin on my insecure imprefections.
I want to open this story to see what lies ahead.
Curiosity is taking its toll, no but Impatience is...
Its pains me to know that im going to have to depart from the two people that know me from all angels.
Its a sense of knowing that they have read the book and are just waiting for me to go through the chapters alone.
Im stiff with suspense to scared to let go. knowing if i do i will have to make my own decisions, learn things the hard way.
Stepping out of my bedroom door is soothing, stepping out of my front door is comforting..stepping into life alone petrifies me hypnotizes me brings a nauseated feeling to my tumbling stomach palms sweat my head feels light...
looking at college pamplets.
but then again my story is untold. but to them they can barley wait for it to be finished. but then again i look at there faces at which gave me lifeand i cant wait to return the favor.
