My Life Long Affair

Thy precious love that reigns my mind.
Thy divine heart I seek it to be mine.
Thee who puts back the sparkle into my summer,
Like decadent diamond with gold and ceramic lights...
A gold Goddess,
Sets summer aglow like sterling silver roses.
These words I've scribed,
To note all of her powerful attractive force.
Never hath I felt like this before... Breathless.

Dazzling and sparkling my entire being.
My lifelong affair, began like a summer romance.
From that moment desired took my heart at a whim,
leaving it fluttering like a young maid's heart.
Foolishly besotting,
I had even dreamt of times to come,
Dreaming if I had One who can prime me?
And make a sentinel out my dull self.

Had I sent her a glowing phoenix,
One who'll burn into ashes of heaven's tears,
With words,
My only tools to use.
I wish I had more to offer,
But my idling paper is all the offering I can manage.

May you dream more of me,
And make me more deserving,
An equal God to thy life.
Like a Goddess ye are to mine! !

"Believe me my love, if thy let me be thine God.
And thee my Goddess.
We would need no other"
