My Light Poem by Osc Can

You who made the great blue skies
The singing birds, the butterflies
The twinkling stars far up above
The flowers in the garden that i truly love
I never cease to wonder about my trials, my circumstance
Why my life was given another chance
And as i contemplated and cried at night
Your love embraced me, it became my light
And joy became my strength, truth my guide
As i travel from the valley, up the mountainside
