Butterflies dance,
In the moon beams,
Across the moon lit sky,
Where the shadows don’t dwell.

Out of the night
And into the day,
The sun shines,
Across the morning bay.

There is a cool breeze
On this cliff,
And the trees sway.

Looking across
Into the horizon,
To where the sky meets the sea
To the beach,
Where I sit and lay.

Looking over that cliff
To the bay,
And here on the beach
That is my day,
I can sit and slip
Into my own world,
And dream,
A simple
Little day dream.
