“my Mama Taught Me”
My Mama taught me how to live
She taught me to survive
Taught me how to love
And how to fight for who I am
She taught me to believe
To have faith
And succeed
Then she taught me how to truly miss someone
How to miss her when she took her last breath
My Mama taught me
But I am ungrateful for the last lesson
