My Meander Into Online Dating Poem by MandyLynn Mott

My Meander Into Online Dating

I have attempted a courageous meander into online dating
In search of my soulmate or lovers Zen
While this venture, has exhausted all my womanly wiles at baiting
I'm left in a quandary, as to what is wrong with Them(men)

Should I be as sweet as honey,
strong as an untamed lion or an evil beast
Partner seeking, my John, Peter, Mark or Brian...
Quite a challenge, to say the least.

Bear with me oh chiding critic,
I aim to put this task to test
Save your whines for the analytic
This is how I'll find my other best...

With the pros and cons aplenty,
Those tempting, hinky faces, pray be, but a farce
though I am drawn to the intellectual of nobility
these profile writs, are few and very sparse

So I extend a challenge to all and sundry
Take up the sword and do your level best
Wine and dine the pretty ladies
And we will follow suit to join you,
in winning, this Elusive Lovers Quest
