My Mind Poem by Katherine H. Belle

My Mind

Beauty envelops layers of ever streaming thoughts
Falling over rivers of deep emotion and love.
A mosiac of my mind made of pebbles
How can i make sence of it all?

Picasso-like people walk through the streets
I cant understand what they say
Delicate fingers dance along keys
Beethovens symphony they play.

Small toes tickled by sand.
Small hands grope for shadows.
Bottles and bottles of wine drained,
sucked of thier last bubbling drop.

A crusifix lies in my mind
Nailed to it:
my lifes dreams.

Fover yearning for something i cannot have
why cannot i not recognize me?
