My Person Poem by Andre Brown

You're incredibly special to me,
More than words could ever explain or let me see.
You're the one I'd willingly lose sleep for,
The one I'd stay awake just to hear your voice some more.
You're the one I never grow tired of talking to,
No matter the hour, there's always something new.
The one who stays on my mind throughout the day,
Even when you're far, somehow you never fade away.
You're the only one who can make me smile effortlessly,
Turning ordinary moments into something beautiful to me.
But you're also the one who can bring my mood down without meaning to,
Because every little thing you do somehow reaches straight through.
You influence my emotions in ways I can't always explain,
A single word from you can bring sunshine or rain.
And though words alone could never express what you mean,
You're the most beautiful part of every dream I've seen.
You're my comfort, my weakness, my joy, and my fear,
The one whose presence makes everything feel more clear.
And if I'm being honest, there's one thing I can't hide—
You're the one I'm most afraid of losing from my side.
Because somewhere between every conversation and every smile,
You became my person, and you've been worth every mile.
And if I had one wish, one thing I'd ask the stars to do,
It would simply be this—to never have a life without you.
