My Place



There is a place in my mind
I go there from time to time
And it is there where I find
A stillness that is sublime

This is my very centre
Where all my emotions reside
Where only I can enter
And where others are denied

It is where I can find peace
It’s where I can totally
Be at ease, where troubles cease
At least temporarily
