My Plea To Summer Poem by Silvia Jen

My Plea To Summer

You seduced and flirted,
with sunshine and blue skies,
bright flowers and warm breeze.

Head over heels I fell,
entrenched in
falling leaves and rain.

A cruel joke it is,
to glow
then to hail.

So if you will,
please,
leave me already.
