My Precious Flower Poem by Marqese Dabbs

My Precious Flower

You look like your in need of love
Your wilt shall be rid of
Sprung to an elegant life
No possession of the strife
Watering the roots to the light
Sleep to the lullaby on this night
Turning you that is a splendor
Supple, vibrant, tender, slender
I will weave you pleasant days
Kisses that will take away the fever
I pledge to keep you safe
My precious flower
Only this can light the hour
See your petals blossom
A radiant hue surrounding you
Tell me words of fragrant
Alluring in your asphodel vase
Your vines giving an embrace
It is like no other
A presence I speak of in my own words
To my precious flower
