My Prince Poem by Amy Lewis

I can never hurt you my prince no matter if I try,
for I'd never be able to forgive myself, knowing
that I've made you cry.

I could never break your heart though you've broken
mine this way.
Because I had loved you with all of my heart, and had
lived for you each day.

This love that I still feels for you are more precious
than any earthly treasure.
It's a love unlike any other, and one that will last
forever.

Each day my lonely heart aches for you, you're
constantly on my mind
I never thought, that toward me, you were capable
of being so unkind.

But, to the many hearts that you may wander, to the
many places you may roam,
always remember, that at the end of your journey, my
heart is always your home.
