The longer
Im next to you
The harder
It is to hide what's true.

I feel a rush
Throughout my chest.
You make me blush
Even when at my best.

You shock me
Each time we meet.
It's hard to see
A flaw from my seat.

You push me to
My limits constantly.
I need you
Oh so horribly.

I get closer
All the time.
I fall further
With each chime.

I want you today
Tomorrow forever more.
I don't know what to say
To you anymore.

I struggle with handling
This emotion.
I'm fighting
To stay in motion.

You're right here
Within my grasp.
But, you're not near
So, for air, I gasp.
