My Soft Tune Of Choice Poem by Timothy muggaga

My Soft Tune Of Choice

The music in my ears was too loud
that for my lost soul, i felt not around
My spirit wandered in the emptiness of noise
and for my little sorrows, my faith should rejoice

The sight ahead showed me a crush
but being a believer, darkness is not a flash
my inner child wept for the imminent frost
for evil's performance...for the 'paradise lost'

At birth, my mom gave me the planet earth
She said; now the world you own little lass
But don't fill your heart with empty pleasure
for your immortal soul is an invaluable treasure

Now, while the world makes noise,
my heart still sings a soft tune of choice
Am not a mourner for today's little sorrows
my signature of faith's on the day of the Morrow
