My Soul, Be Patient Poem by Leman J Koc

My Soul, Be Patient

Rating: 5.0

I've drank much boiling water,
My soul burned by the flames,
I -
Hugging the moon, fell asleep,
I also kissed the sun,
The hunter of evil has aimed at me
And blew my hat back
Like a gazelle in the mountain, running from an arrow
I am - Being chased by a wolf too
Destiny is generous, - in it's light,
It will not touch your gains
It will caress your head like a child
After, a rock could hit your brow
My life's song could be hit like a rockfall,
Like my tree of wishes falling down,
Like my fortunes, stumbling and falling,
My soul has no patience.
Life is not patient.
I am drained.
My soul, try to endure -
In front of us a luminous valley is revealed,
We need to go up there!
