My Soul's Escape Poem by Latika morselli

Shadows appear in the magic moonlight,
As life creeps around deep into the night.
Sounds so silent, you can hardly hear,
All this movement within this eary atmosphere.
Shuffles coming from far too near by,
Im so scared and i dont know why.
As the peace eacapes to leave a complicated mind,
Fear moves in as im completeley blind.
To my delight i hear a voice, one so soft,
A moment of rejoice.
She took my hand and led me away,
Into the purified distance as they do pray.
Now the shadows have dissapeared,
Clouds uncover places that arent so wierd.
Clear bright and sunny skies,
Happiness and contentment comes with no lies.
Floating above like an angel in disguise,
I know reach my destination.
And so it seems i lay aone in peace
But the truth is now,
Im with you my darling niece!
