My Star Poem by Ellen Mendez

My Star

Shining above it's so bright
Hope, visions, carried by its light
Standing here it's oh so clear
But thousand miles it's distance to say it's oh so near

To be with you, is a wish as the time goes by,
But your presence is oh so high
In my dreams i hold you tight
Though it kills me just by your sight

Looking up, admiring is enough
For wishing you here is being a tough
Though i long for that essence
All things will worn-out by your presence

But wings could be a tool,
In times like this as being a fool
For i really want to touch that star,
Though i couldn't reach its far

But someday i would be far
Far, far, as far and high as my star
Then i would rejoice with all my might
Enjoying the essence and presence of light

But it is far from reality,
For we are in different society
But i know you will goes down for me,
It is possible... maybe
