my sweetest dreams are always of you
waking up and knowing its true
knowing that you're by my side
knowing that you're within reach
knowing that we're on a beach
letting the water wash over our feet
knowing that every morning
we will meet
oh how i wish that it was all real
how i wish that you could feel
just how much i truly love you
and just how much i see in you

my sweetest dreams need not be much
as long as they include your touch
i wish i could wake to this dream
every morning while you offer me cream
for my coffee you dirty boy
even though the other side may bring you joy
i know we could be so playful
and that just the thought of you in the morning
next to me would make me drool
